Brief info
Dr. Manju Haridas graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Chemistry. She completed medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Following medical school, Dr. Haridas chose to relocate to New York and completed her Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Haridas also completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the State University of New York.
Dr. Haridas is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Additionally, she is a member of the American Medical Association and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. During her residency and fellowship, Dr. Haridas made multiple presentations, lectures, and was part of several research organizations. She has been a member of the infection control committee and antimicrobial stewardship programs, as well as an Ebola preparation committee. She is currently the physician leader for the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Tampa Memorial Hospital.
Prior to moving to Tampa, Dr. Haridas practiced Infectious Diseases in New York, Chicago, and Michigan. Her interests include: management of the critically ill ICU patients, HIV care, antimicrobial stewardship, endemic and global infections. She joined Infectious Disease Associates of Tampa Bay in 2018.
